The biennial council session of Bangladesh Oil & Gas Workers Federation was held at Jamuna Oil Company headquarters office at Agrabad in the city on Saturday with its President Jane Alam in the chair.
After end of the council session, election for next 25-members Federation committee was also held where 95 councilors casted their vote . CBA President of Meghna Petrolium Nasiruddin Ahmed, and General Secretary of Jamuna Oil Md. Yakub have been elected as President and General Secretary respectively.
Other elected office -bearers are – Executive President Momtazul Islam, Vice Presidents SM Towfiq Belal, Manik Chandra Shur, Md.Yakub, Joint Secretary Md. Elias, Treasurer Abul Kalam, Publicity secretary Syed Rabiul Hossain, Education affairs secretary Mojibul Hoque, International Relations Secretary Md. Selim and Law Secretary Kaiser Hamid. 11 Executive Members . Abdur Rab, Anisur Rahman, AB Siddique Khan, Mizanur Rahman, Hamidur Rahman, Mowshed Alam, Abul Kashem, Abu Shama, Abu Md. Noman, Md.
