Jatiya Oikyafront demanded the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda’s resignation.
On Tuesday after a emergency meeting, Oikyafront spokesman and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir demanded the CEC’s resignation.
Before that Jatiya Oikyafront summoned an emergency meeting after staging walkout at a meeting with the Election Commission on Tuesday afternoon.
The meeting was scheduled to be held at BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office in Dhaka around 6:00pm, Sayrul Kabir Khan, a staff of the BNP chief media wing, told The New Nation.
