A new chair titled ‘OIC-IRCICA Chair’ will be set up at the Department of Islamic History and Culture of Dhaka University (DU) to promote education and research on Islamic history and civilisation.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the DU and OIC Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA) was signed recently at the 45th OIC Council of Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Dhaka for setting up this chair.
