Moushumi Hamid as Nazrul’s Kajori

In last Eid, popular actress Moushumi Hamid got popularity to act in several numbers of good plays like Shahid-un-Nabi’s I Promise You and Qurbani, Shetu Arif’s Ferari, Monzurul Alam’s Hridoy Danar Projapoti, Redoan Rony’s Behind The Puppy and Maksudur Rahman Bishal’s Tomakey Boley Debo. Moushumi is also satisfied with her Eid works.
On the occasion of coming death anniversary of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, Moushumi Hamid has already finished shooting of a special play titled Kalo Horin Chokh, which is based on Nazrul’s Badol O Borishoney. In the play, Moushumi acted in role of Kajori. Shimanto Sojol has made the play.
While talking about acting in the play Moushumi Hamid said, “I got huge response for acted plays which were telecasted during Eid-ul-Azha. I am grateful to the viewers for watching my-acted works in Eid. After Eid, I acted in Kazi Nazrul Islam’s story based special play Kalo Horin Chokh. I give thanks to Shimanto Sojol to give me chance to play in role of Kajori in this play. I have tried my level best to portray the role. I believe viewers will enjoy the play which will be telecast on Maasranga TV on August 29, death anniversary of Kazi Nazrul Islam.”
However, Moushumi Hamid’s outstanding performance attracted the viewers in Shuvro Goswami’s short film Bhalobasha recently. SA Haque Alik’s Jaigir Master, which was telecasted on Banglavision recently, is Moushumi Hamid’s one of the mentionable works of present time.
