SM Zobaidul Kabir has obtained PhD (degree) on Sustainable Resource Management from the University of Newcastle Australia. His PhD thesis topic titles ‘A critical evaluation of Environment Impact Assessment of development project in Bangladesh.
He undertook his research under the Australian Government Scholarship. He was supervised by Professor Wayne Erskine and Dr Salim Momtaz.
Earlier he obtained Master of Environment Management degree from Australian National University in 2004 and Master of Diplomacy from the same university in 2005 under AusAID scholarship. He is a Director of the department of Ansar-VDP under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Kabir is the second son of late Md. Chandmiah Shikder (Headmaster, Gachani High School) and Mrs Firoza Begum of village Banshbaria, Upazila-Dashmina under Patuakhali District. He seeks blessings from all.
