Country’s noted Rabindra Sangeet singer Tapan Bhattachariya died of cardiac arrest at a hospital in Mymensingh on Wednesday night. He was 62.Tapan, who was General Secretary of Bangladesh Udichi Shilpi Goshti of Mymensingh district in 1983, was a pioneer of cultural movement. He left behind a host of admirers and relatives including wife, a daughter and a son and brother to mourn his death.
