Comrade Advocate MA Quddus, an eminent lawyer and veteran Communist leader, died at a city hospital on Thursday morning. He was 80.
He left behind his wife, three sons, three daughters and a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death.
His body was brought to the CPB office in the capital on Thursday afternoon where his party colleagues paid rich tributes to him by placing wreaths and wrapping up his coffin.
Advocate Quddus was buried at Martyred Intellectuals Graveyard at Mirpur on Friday.
