Personal Officer to the parliament secretariat M Anis died on Tuesday at his residence at Government Staff Quarter in city’s Agargaon area. He was 41.
M Anis left behind his wife, a son, a daughter and a host number of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
The first namaz-e-janaza was held at South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.
Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, Deputy Speaker M Fazle Rabbi Mia and Chief Whip ASM Firoz expressed deep shock at the death of M Anis.
