Rafia Chowdhury, mother of Dhaka City Awami League Vice-President Mukul Chowdhury, died in the early hours of Wednesday at Holy Family Hospital in the city. She was 91. She had been suffering from old-age ailments.
She left behind three sons and a host of relatives to mourn her death.
Her namaz-e-janaza was held on Wednesday after Zohr Prayers at Rampura Bazar Road. She was buried at Banani graveyard.
