Former President of Rajbari District Awami League (AL) Advocate Rafiqush Salehin died of old-age complications at his Rajbari residence on Monday morning. He was 95.
He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers.
Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, on behalf of Bangladesh Awami League (AL), on Monday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of the former district AL leader.
In a message of condolence, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
