Liberation War organiser and former lawmaker from Netrokona-3 (Kendua-Atpara) constituency, noted lawyer and veteran Awami League leader M Zubed Ali passed away recently while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mymensingh. He was 92.
He left behind two sons, three daughters and a host of friends, relatives and well wishers to mourn his death.
Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Zubed Ali.
In a condolence message, the minister prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
