Keshab Chandra Howlader, an industrialist and a social worker, died of cardiac arrest at Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences in Kolkata on Saturday.
He was 65.
He was the founder managing director of Samsons Knitwear Industries Ltd and Samsons Winterwear Industries Ltd.
Howlader, hailed from Barisal district, was involved in various social welfare and charity activities.
He left behind his wife, a daughter, a son and host of relatives, friends and well-wishers to mourn his death.
