Idrish Ali, father of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha Senior Sub Editor Aktaruzzaman, died of old-age complications at his Surzobhag village residence in Durgapur upazila of Rajshahi district on Monday morning. He was 82.
He was a schoolteacher of Ujalkhalshi High School in Durgapur upazila of
the district.
After retiring from the teaching profession, he had been working for the
welfare of the poor people.
He left behind wife, four sons, two daughters, his
younger brother and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He was buried at his family graveyard at Surzobhag village after Asr
prayers following a namaz-e-janaza.
