Vice-President of Kishoreganj District Awami League (AL) and former Mayor of Kishoreganj Municipality Mazharul Islam Bhuiyan Kanchan passed away while undergoing treatment at a city hospital on Saturday morning. He was 69.
Mazharul, also the AL Kishoreganj municipal unit convener, left behind one son, two daughters, political admires and relatives to mourn his death. In a condolence message, AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Mazharul.
The minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
