Prominent educationist of Barishal region, former principal of Barishal Govt. B M College , Hatem Ali College, non-govt. Islamia College, Professor Md. Hanif, 90, is no more.
He was also former member of the syndicate of the University of Barishal.
He breathed his last at Ibne Sina Hospital in the capital on Monday (March 1st) at 10:10 pm.
He had been suffering from geriatric diabetic and old age complication for a long time.
He left 4 sons, 2 daughters and a lot of students and well-wishers.
Sate Minister of Water Resources Zahid Farooq Shamim, Barishal City Corporation (BCC )Mayor Serniabat SadiK Abdullah, VC of Barisal University Dr. Sadequl Arefin, Barishal Reporters Unity, Press Club, Sangskritik Sangothan Samonnya Parishad, and hundreds of organisations, personalitiies in Barishal including all political parties expressed deep mourn over his death.
