Valiant Freedom Fighter Mahmud Hasan Roman died of brain stroke at a hospital in Dhaka on Wednesday evening. He was 68.
Roman left behind one son, host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
Mahmud Hasan Roman was the youngest son of late Khondoker Mozharul Huque Chand Mia, Member of Provincial Assembly in 1970 who was one of the close associates of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Khandakar Chand Mia was also the President of Awami League of the then Manikganj Sub-Division.
