Hosne Ara Begum, wife of Advocate Ahmed Ali, former President of greater Comilla district Awami League, ex-Gano Parishad Member and former Vice-Chairman of Supreme Court Bar Council, died at her residence in Comilla on Tuesday morning. She was 78.
Hosne Ara Begum left behind her husband, four sons, five daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock at the death of Hosne Ara Begum.
In a condolence message, the Prime Minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
