Narayanganj city unit of Awami League (AL) Vice-President and Freedom Fighter Gopinath Das died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the city on Wednesday. He was 69. Gopinath left behind his wife, two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death. Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader expressed profound shock and sorrow at his death.
In a condolence message, the minister prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
