Shahjahan Miah, a valiant freedom fighter and father of former General Secretary of Dhaka University Chhatra League Omar Sharif, passed away while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the city on Wednesday afternoon. He was 70.
Shahjahan left behind wife, three sons and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
