Social worker Md. Abul Husain passed away on Friday in his own home in the capital’s Gandaria.
Abul Husain was suffering from blood cancer which was detected in his body for two months.
The proprietor of the Medicine Point, a medicine shop in Gandaria, Dhaka was the patron of poor people especially patients of the area.
He provided essential medicines in credit and frequently free in costs to poor male and female patients in the vast areas.
He also used to donate and help with cash especially for medical treatment purposes to the poor people there.
He was laid to eternal rest in Jurain graveyard on Friday night.
His elder brother Abul Hasan requested all to keep him in prayers for his eternal peace.
