Saleha Karim, mother of former Special Correspondent of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha Shafiqul Karim, died of old-age complications at Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital in the early hours of Tuesday. She was 83. Saleha Karim used to live in New York and came to Dhaka for a visit. She left behind three sons, a daughter, grandsons and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn her death.
The namaz-e-janaza of Saleha Karim was held in the city’s Uttara Mosque at Sector-4, Road no-8 after Zohr prayers yesterday.
She was buried at Uttara graveyard in the city.
