Freedom Fighter Moklesur Rahman Toy, the youngest brother of thinker, writer and columnist Dr Mizanur Rahman Shelley, died at a hospital in the city on Friday.
He was 66.
Toy had been suffering from various diseases for long.
He is survived by his wife Swapna, three daughters and a host of relatives and admirers.
Born in 1952, Toy was the son of late principal B.M. Rahman and Begum Rezia Rahman of Kushumpur in the district of Munshiganj.
He was an amiable and friendly social and political worker. During the early 1970s, he served as the Dhaka City Organizing Secretary of the Awami Jubo League.
The Qulkhwani of the deceased will be held today at 62, Green Road, Dhaka after Maghrib prayers.
