Alhaj Abdus Samad, father of senior reporter of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Fazlul Haque, died of stroke at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Friday afternoon.
He left behind wife, six sons, three daughters, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He was buried at his family graveyard at Hajirtek village under Araihazar upazila in Narayanganj after Namaz-e-Janaza.
