Laila Hossain, mother of journalist Ekram Kabir (Vice-President, Communications and Corporate Responsibility, Robi Axiata Limited), died of old-age complications at her Banasree residence in the city on 18th instant. She was 71.
Laila is survived by husband, two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
She was buried at Banani Graveyard after Namaz-e-Janaza.
