Renu Mirza, younger sister of BNP standing committee member Mirza Abbas, passed away at a city hospital on Saturday morning. She was 58. Renu breathed her last at Mohakhali’s Metropolitan Hospital while undergoing treatment, said a BNP press release.
BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed deep shock at her death.
In a condolence message, he prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed his profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
