Thakur Das Ghosh, father of Manik Lal Ghosh, a senior reporter of private television channel My TV, died of old-age complications at Bikpasha under Nalchiti upazila of Jhalokathi district on Friday. He was 102.
He left behind a son, six daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
In a message of condolence, Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu expressed profound shock at the death of Thakur Das Ghosh. He prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.
