Mohammad Safiullah, former adviser of Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) died at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in the city on Wednesday. He was 72.
He left behind his wife, three daughters, relatives and a host of admirers to mourn his death.
His Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Ulan Matabbarbari mosque at Rampura
in the city after Zohr prayers on Wednesday. Later, his body was taken to his village home at Raipur under Lakshmipur district for burial.
