Nurul Islam, former publicity and publication secretary of Awami League died at his own residence in the city’s Rayer Bazar on Friday last. He was 80.
He had been suffering from various diseases and old age complications.
He left behind relatives, colleagues and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He was buried at his own village home of Hajiganj under Chandpur district.
