UNB, Chittagong :
A teacher of Chittagong Government Nursing College was stabbed to death by some unidentified miscreants in Chakbazar Telipotti intersection area in Panchlaish thana on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Anjali Devi, 50.
Police said, when Anjali was waiting for rickshaw near her house for going to the college around 10:00 am some miscreants swooped on her and chopped her mercilessly, leaving her critically injured.
Later, she was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where she died at around 11:40am.
Mohiuddin Mahmud, officer-in-charge of Panchlaish police station, confirmed the incident. The motive behind the murder could not be known immediately.
