N'ganj 7-murder: Nur’s aide Raham put on remand

A court here on Tuesday placed Raham Ali, an aide of Nur Hossain, the prime accused in the Narayanganj seven-murder cases, on a seven-day remand in the cases.
Senior Judicial Magistrate Chandni Rupom passed the order when Detective Branch of police produced him before the court seeking a 10-day remand for him, said Court police inspector Habibur Rahman.
Earlier, police arrested Raham Ali, 40, son of Bahadur Biswas of Sarulia in Demra of Dhaka from Devpur Bazar area in
Burichang upazila of Comilla on Monday.
Raham was accused in the cases filed over the seven murders of Narayanganj. He went into hiding after the incident came to light.
On April 27 last year, Narayanganj panel mayor Nazrul Islam, his three associates and driver were abducted by miscreants from Fatullah area of the city.
