A seminar on “Employment Opportunities in the Pharmaceutical Industry” was held at Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) recently. Dr Riad Mamun Prodhani, ?Country Head, Pharmaceuticals Division, Novartis (Bangladesh) Ltd, presented the key paper at the event chaired by Prof Dr Anwar Hossain, Vice-Chancellor of Northern University Bangladesh.
The speakers at the program called upon the students to enrich their careers by engaging in professions related to the promising pharmaceuticals sector. At present, Bangladesh exports medicine to over 120 countries around the globe.
Pro-VC of NUB Prof Dr Anwarul Karim, Treasurer Md. Anwar Hussain, Registrar Md. Rashidul Islam, the Director of Development and International Affairs Lt Col (Retd) Aqtedar Ahmed Siddiqui, and the Director of the IQAC of NUB, Prof Dr Md. Harun Ar Rashid, Head of the Department of Pharmacy, were also present at the session along with faculty members and students.
