A daylong orientation and cultural program for Spring-2017 freshers of Departments of Law and English was held on Sunday at Northern University Bangladesh (NUB).
Prof Dr AWM Abdul Haque, Dean, Law Faculty, NUB was the chairperson of this event. Prof Dr Abu Yousuf Md. Abdullah, Chairman, NUB Trust, was present as chief guest.
Special guests of this program were Prof Dr Anawar Hossain, Vice Chancellor, NUB, Prof Dr Anawarul Karim, Pro Vice-Chancellor, NUB, Md. Anawar Hossain, Teasurer, NUB and Lt Col (retd) Aqtedar Ahmed Siddiqui, Registrar, NUB.
The chief guest of the event told the students of NUB, “You are the assets of this university. By applying yourselves correctly, you will bring about the prosperity for the country and will also develop yourselves as skilled human resources and will represent Bangladesh in the world stage. This is what I hope for.” After the orientation, an entertaining cultural event was held. Deans of different faculties of NUB, heads of departments, teachers, executives and students were also present among others.
