The National University authorities postponed all the examinations scheduled for Saturday due to Cyclone Fani
A press release signed by the NU controller of examinations was issued in this regard on Friday.
The press release stated that all the examinations scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2019, had been postponed for unavoidable circumstances. The new date will be announced very soon.
However, all other examinations will be held according to the earlier schedule, the NU press release added.
Meanwhile, the government rescheduled the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations for Saturday on account of the same reason.
The Higher Mathematics (First paper) and Islamic Studies will be held on May 14. Similarly, the Home Economics (First paper) will now be held on May 14, from 2pm to 4pm.
The HSC and its equivalent examinations began from April 1 and will continue till May 11.
Around 1,138,747 candidates are taking part in the examinations under eight general education boards of the country.
