Gulshan attack: NSU teacher, among 3 held in city

Law enforcement agencies on Saturday arrested a professor of the North South University (NSU) and two others for renting a flat in the city’s Bashundhara residential area to militant suspects.
The flat was allegedly rented by Gulshan and Sholakia attackers, which was used as base camp by the militants.
The arrestees are M Gias Uddin Ahsan, dean, School of Health and Life Sciences of NSU, his nephew Alam Chowdhury and Rahman Tuhin.
Gias Uddin Ahsan was the owner of the flat.
The Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crimes Unit of Police arrested them in the afternoon from various parts in the capital.
