Matiul Islam Nowshad, Chief Corporate and People Officer of Robi Axiata Limited, will relocate to Kuala Lumpur for beginning his new assignment with Axiata Group Berhard’s Human Resources Division. He will be joining Axiata Group as Special Projects Director, Group HR effective from Thursday, said a press release.
Nowshad’s new assignment brings an end to his eight-year-long career with Robi as, first, Chief Human Resources Officer and, later, as Chief Corporate and People Officer.
He started his journey with Robi on 14 February 2010 and contributed to the company through thick and thin. He played a pivotal role in transforming and rebranding Robi from AKTel. Nowshad offered a new structure to the company that played vital role in accelerating the company’s growth-led future. Among others, he also played the important role in amalgamating Airtel Bangladesh with Robi.
