Noted actor Sagar Huda breathed his last in the early hours of yesterday morning. The news was announced by
filmmaker Mabrur Rashid Bannah, who shared a photo of
himself with Sagar Huda on his verified Facebook page.
Bannah wrote: “Sagar Bhai has passed away.
I cannot put into words how this news has broken my heart. He was not just a good actor, but a benevolent spirit. My brother, stay with Allah for a few days,
I will also be
coming along shortly.”
The news was also verified by the actor’s older brother, Kazi Topon. He mentioned that Sagar Huda died
in Kushtia and his body was brought to Dhaka for the janaza. His namaz-e-janaza took place after
Asr prayers.
Sagar Huda made his acting debut in 2013 under the direction of Bannah. He last
performed in the drama ‘O Aamar Bon Na.’ His mentionable dramas are ‘Beyain I Love You,’ ‘Khotka,’ ‘Sweeper Man,’ ‘Master Planner,’ ‘Bekar,’ ‘Chheleta Beyadob’ and many more.
