Minister for Housing and Public Works Engr. Mosharraf Hossain expressed resentment over the non-preservation of old memories of historical Kalurghat Radio station during Liberation War.
 He expressed resentment while addressing the views exchanging with the Bijoy Mela Parishad at Chittagong circuit house on Friday as Chief Guest.
President of the City Awami League and Chairman of Bijoy Mela Parishad ABM Mohiuddidn Chowdhury presided over the meeting.
The Minister in his brief deliberations emphasized the need for preservation the memories of the Kalurghat Radion transmitting centre where the signs of liberation war existed during liberation war. Proclamation of independence was read out from this transmitting centre during Liberation War.
 He demanded to declare KRS as a museum of liberation war where the people will know about the real picture of proclamation of independence.
Deputy commissioner of Chittagong Shamsul Arefin, Chittagong Police Super Nure Alam Mina, Civil Surgeon Dr.Azizul Hoque Siddiqui, chairman of Chittagong Education Board Prof. Shaheda Akhter, Awami League North Secretary MA Salam, FF Commander Md. Shahabuddin , commander Mozzafar ahmed, cochairman of Bijoy Mela Parishad Badiul Alam, General Secretary Ahmedur Rahman Azmi , Adv Iftekhar Saimul Chowdhury and Mosihur Rahman spoke on the occasion.
