Noman emphasises national dialogue to resolve crisis over militancy

Former Minister and Vice Chairman of BNP Abduallah al Noman said, militant activities and terrorism now became a national problem and there is no alternative of national dialogue and unity to resolve this crisis.
He called upon the people of the country to get united like liberation war of 1971 to resist the militancy .He urged the govt to arrange a national dialogue as called by the BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
 He disclosed it while addressing the views exchanging with the party leaders and workers at his city residence as arranged by the BNP North, south and city unit on Saturday afternoon at his residence.
He said the people are under the attacks of militants across the country ands we should be united like liberation war to resist such attacks by the outlawed groups at any cost. He hoped to control the militancy in the country with joint efforts. He also emphasized the need of national unity above all disputes among the peoples.
He further stressed the need of sustaining the democratic environment to control such militancy.
He said BNP always hate the heinous activities of any militant groups .
He further said instead of controlling the militants activities , arrest trading is randomly going on by the law enforcers across the country .
Among others, General Secretary of City Unit of BNP Dr. Shahdat Hossain, Asstt. Organizing Secretary Abul Hashem Bakkar, Labour Affairs Secretary AM Nazimuddin, former President of CUTA Prof. Dr. Siddique Ahmed Chowdhury, City Vice President of BNP Shamsul Alam, former general secretary Jahangir alam chowdhury, former joint secretary MA sabur, Advocate Abdus Sattar, Kazi Akbar, FF Commander Shahabuddin, BNP leaders MA Haslim, Engr. Belayet Hossain, Noor Md, Advocate Abu Taher, Abu Ahmed Hasnat, Muzzafar Ahmed Chowdhury, Humayun Kabir Ansar, Chhatra Dat President Gazi Sirajdowlla were present on the occasion, a party sources said.
