Nokia launches 4G smartphone with Airtel bundle offer

HMD Global launched Nokia’s 4G smartphone Nokia 2 with two-day long battery life in Bangladesh on Tuesday.
The device is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile platform, 4100 mAh battery, 5-inch LTPS LCD HD display, 8MP rear and 5MP front camera, which is the first branded 4G smartphone available in the country with a price tag below 10 thousand taka, according to a press release.
The device has been launched with Airtel’s bundle offer for subscribers which includes voice, data and content.
The smartphone worth Tk9,600, comes with 300 minutes of voice calls and 9GB daChief Product Officer of HMD Global Juho Sarvikas said: “With the Nokia 2, we wanted to replicate the unique android experience we’ve delivered so far with the long-lasting battery which so many fans associate and expect from their Nokia phones.”
Customers can avail the offer for three months from the date of purchase with a validity of 15 days in each month at no additional cost.
The bundle offer will be available at any of the Airtel experience centres, Robi Sheba centres and the retail outlets which sell Nokia devices across the country. The smartphone will be available in pewter/black, pewter/white and copper/black colors.
Speaking at the launching event, Robi’s Managing Director and CEO Mahtab Uddin Ahmed said: “The launch of the most affordable branded 4G smartphone with Airtel bundle offer will prove to be an irresistible offer for our customers.”
