The biennial election of Noakhali Press Club was held at the Press Club premises amid enthusiasm on Tuesday.
In the election a 11-member executives were elected. Alamgir Yousuf, Noakhali Correspondent of The Daily Ittefaq and Mahmudul Hasan Rudro Masud, Noakhali Correspondent, The Daily Shomokal were re-elected as President and Secretary of Noakhali Press Club for the year 2015 .
Vice presidents are -Munirazzaman( Daily Sangbad), Shah Emran and Osman Sujan( Daily Sonali Jamin), Treasurer Dr Borhan Uddin ( Daily Sangram), Joint secretaries are – Jamal Hossain Bishad(Boikhaki Tv) and Akbar Hossain Sohagh( Bangladesh Protidin), Sports and Social Welfare Secretary Abdul Rahim (SA Tv) and Executive members are- Prof Gias Uddin Farhad( Daily Jonokantha), Abu Nasaer( Independent Tv)and Nurul Amin(banglavision).
Prof Kazi Muhammad Rafiqual Ullah, formal principal of Noakhali Govt Collage conducted the election as the Chief Election Commissioner.
