‘No place of terrorism & militancy in Bangladesh’

Joint Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League (AL) Md. Mahbub-ul-Hanif said that terrorism will never be tolerated in Bangladesh.
He said there is no place of terrorism and militancy in Bangladesh. The government will do everything to maintain peace.
He said some vested groups working against the country will be boycotted everywhere in the society.
He said this on Wednesday while addressing as the chief guest at a workshop ‘Invitation of Islam to protect terrorism and militancy’ in Khulna.
Organised by Islamic Foundation of Khulna Division, the workshop was addressed as special guests by Begum Monnuzan Sufian, MP, Mizanur Rahman Mizan, MP, Panchanan Biswas, MP, Commissioner of Khulna division Md. Abdus Samad, Range DIG of Khulna Police S M Monir-uz-Zaman, additional Police Commissioner Mahbub Hakim, Commander of RAB-6 Khondoker Rafiqul Islam, Khulna Police Super Habibur Rahman and administrator of Khulna district council Sheikh Harun-ur-Rashid.
Chaired by Deputy Commissioner of Khulna Nazmul Ahsan, the workshop was also addressed by Deputy Commissioner of Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) Abdullah Aref and Khatib of City’s Town Jame Mosque Moulana Abu Saleh.

delivered the welcome speech.
Hanif said, the terrorist and militants who want to be established Islam
by killing people, are the enemy of Islam and society.
He said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Muzibur Rahman established
Islamic Foundation for publicity and research of Islam. The government would
find out conspirators who are patronising and backing the millitant force in
the country, he added.
Referring to the attack on a Gulshan restaurant on July 1 and at Sholakia
before the Eid congregation, Hanif said, Jamaat-Shibir have resorted to
secret killing in a planned way across the country in the name of different
organisations. He reiterated that there is no existance of IS in Bangladesh.
A total of 500 Imams attended the workshop.
