City Desk :
Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq said no conspiracy will be able to hinder the pace of the country’s development as long as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is in power.
“Though development is an ongoing process, it does not go on automatically; it has to be driven by someone. An efficient driver is needed to run this well. We are seeing unprecedented development as we have Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the driving seat and as long as she is in power, none will be able to hinder the pace of the country’s development,” he said.
The law minister said these on Thursday while virtually addressing a function to inaugurate the newly-constructed 10 storied Chief Judicial Magistrate Building, in Barisal, reports BSS.
“We are being able to implement big development projects like Padma Bridge, Karnaphuli Tunnel, Metrorail, Flyovers, Elevated Expressway and Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant because of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s farsighted planning and dynamic leadership. Bangladesh has become a role model of development on the world stage. So we need to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina by extending our support for her,” Anisul added.
Presided over by Law and Justice Division Secretary Md Golam Sarwar, the inaugural function was also addressed by Barisal-4 lawmaker Pankaj Nath, district Awami League general secretary Advocate Talukder Md Eunus, Barisal District and Sessions Judge Md Rafikul Islam and Barisal District Council Chairman Md Moidul Islam, among others. Law and Justice Division Joint Secretary Bikas Kumar Saha conducted the ceremony.
