Forensic doctor: No apparent injury signs found on Mushtaq’s body

An autopsy of writer and blogger Mushtaq Ahmed completed and doctors say there weren’t any apparent signs of injuries on his body, according to the forensics department of Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital in Gazipur.
Head of the hospital’s forensic department Dr Shafi Mohaimen said: “Apparently there were no signs of injuries on Mushtaq’s body. Further details can be revealed after the autopsy report is submitted.

Rahman also told reporters that when he saw Mushtaq’s body, he did not notice anything unusual. “An autopsy has been conducted. I cannot say anything without the report. We have no complaints. We will not file a case.”
Mushtaq’s namaz-e-janaza is likely to be held at the Minar Mosque in Lalmatia C Block in Dhaka after Maghrib prayers on Friday, later he will be laid to rest at the Azimpur graveyard, said his brother Nafisur.
