State Minister for Social Welfare Nuruzzaman Ahmed in Sheerpur on Sunday said there is no alternative to quality education for building an educated nation.
The government is committed to create skilled workforce to build an economically developed country, he told a function on the golden jubilee of Varera S P School and College in Sreebardi Upazila of the district this noon.
President of the institution’s governing body Abdul Motin chaired the function while Billal Hossain, Dr Gazi Hassan Kamal, Deputy Commissioner of Sherpur Mallick Anwar Hossain, Additional Police Super Aminul Islam and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shajuti Dhor spoke.
