State Minister for Water Resources Lt Colonel (retd) Nazrul Islam Hiro (Bir Pratik) said there is no alterative to quality education for the development of the country.
The Minister said this while he was addressing as chief guest in the annual sports and prize distribution ceremony at Brabamandi Girl’s High School here on Friday.
The Minister termed the meritorious students as the asset of the country and asked them to be worthy citizens of the country and devote themselves in nation building
With the chair of the President of the School Managing Committee Masbah Uddin Bhuiyan.,Bishawnath Banik, Joint Secretary , Ministry of Public Administration and Kamrulzzaman Kamrul Mayor of Narsingdi Pourashbava were present in the ceremony as special guestss.The function was also addressed among others by Headmaster of the School Altaf Hossain Nazir, Ex- Headmaster Abul Hasem and Chairman of Chinishpur Union Parishad Nuruzzaman.
The Minister said, students must to practice sports and games as sports and games keep all physically fit . Sports also the student coolness, courage and self control. He asked the students to come forward with the attitude and courage of leading of the nation toward development and achieving the desired goal of the country by making the use of their talents.
