General Secretary of City Unit of BNP , Chittagong Dr. Shahdat Hossain said, there is no alternative of movement against the unconstitutional govt of the ruling party .
He said the nation became frustrated over the interview of the Prime Minister of the illegal govt with the BBC recently.
The present illegal Prime Minister trying to sustain her Premiership by hook and crook unconstitutionally through closing the doors of the democracy. He disclosed it while addressing the Eid reunion meeting held at a city community centre in Chowkbazar in city yesterday as Chief Guest.
BNP Bakalia thana unit arranged the Eid greeting assembly to fecilitate the BNP leaders of the city wards, professionals and the people irrespective of caste and creed . Dr. Shahdat Hossain said the illegal govt will be downed through mass movement if fails to hold fresh election following the peaceful dialogue.
He further said if govt resist their democratic rights, the movement will be intensified than before. Among others, central organizing secretary Golam Akbar Khondakar, central leader of BNP Giasuddin Quader chowdhury, City BNP vice President Abu Sufian, and the leaders of component party leaders of the 20-party alliance. Before end of the reunion meeting, a colorful cultural function was arranged in the same venue, sources said.
