‘No alternative of plantation to sustain ecological balance’

Management of Rezaul Karim Foundation and Priya Bangladesh jointly have distributed tree saplings, educational materials and tiffin to the students of Hetikhain Government Primary School in Anwara Upazila in South Chattogram recently.
 The programme was presided over by the headmaster of the school Mohammad Jahedul Islam. Lion Anwarul Azim Chowdhury was the Chief Guest . Lion Jahedul Karim Bappi, General Secretary of Rezaul Karim Sikder Foundation was the inaugural speaker.The speakers said that the need for tree planting to save the country from the devastating effects of climate change is undeniable. There is no alternatives to planting trees to maintain the balance of the environment.
The meeting was attended by school teachers Mintu Sultana Arshad, Khatija Begum, Kaniz Fatema, Priyatosh Das. Also present were social workers Ziaul Haque Al Maleki, Farhad Reza, Jahedul Islam and others.
