NMST to celebrate 50th moon landing anniversary today

Half-a- century back on July 20 1969, humans on board Spacecraft ‘Apollo-11’ first set foot on the Moon.
To celebrate the golden jubilee of the landing, National Museum of Science and Technology (NMST) has chalked out elaborate programmes today (Saturday), said a press release.
Programmes including ‘Timeline of Space Exploration’ display, Astronomy Olympiad, painting competition, quiz and prize giving ceremony would be held at the Museum premises from 8am to 4pm on that day.
Also, there will be arrangement for sky observation with powerful telescope at 7pm.
U.S. Ambassador to Bangladesh Earl R. Miller will be present at the programme, added the release.
