Bengali New Year has become
memorable for Close Up 1 famed popular singer Nishita Barua.
Due to ongoing month of Ramzan, there is no stage show in the country. But Nishita performed at ‘Boishakhi Festival’ in Tripura, India. By this way, Nishita started celebrating Bengali New Year, Pahela Boishakh,
with her stage performance outside the country. Nishita informed that for the first time, she rendered song of Baul Emperor Shah Abdul Karim. She
rendered song Sokhi kunjo sajaogo of Baul Shah Abdul Karim. Recording of the song has already done. Zooel Morshed is coordinating the whole matter. Shah Nur Jalal, President of Shah Abdul Karim Council, is working as an advisor for this song, which will be aired soon.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Fitr, Nishita has rendered noted singer late Shefali Ghosh’s popular song titled Jodi sundor ekkhan much paitam for BTV’s Eid special programme. For the first time, Nishita rendered song of Shefali Ghosh and she also took part in shooting of this song for the programme. While talking about rendering these two songs, Nishita Barua said, “I have rendered respected Shefali Ghosh’s many songs in different programmes. This time, I have rendered her one of the popular songs for BTV’s Eid special programme for the first time. For the first time, I also rendered song of Baul Emperor Shah Abdul Karim. I give thanks and gratefulness to Shah Abdul Karim Council. I have special thanks to Zooel Morshed Bhai. I gave my level best effort to render these songs. After airing, listeners will give their judgment how I had rendered these two songs. As a singer, I have been continuing practicing music as I believe there is no option except practice in this regard. I want to continue it keeping respect and love to music. Everybody prays for me.”
Meanwhile, Nishita Barua rendered song Hiya, released on YouTube channel, Poraner Gaan, has already viewed by more than 1 crore 58 lakh viewers. Jahangir Rana wrote lyrics and composed tunes of this song while Shan has arranged its music.
