Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
Apurbo does not believe not to prefer to act in serial like other contemporary actors. Besides special and single episode plays, he wants to act in drama serials. As a part of his intention, Apurbo has started acting in a new serial from end of last week.
Apurbo is acting in serial Antorjal under the direction of Zahidul Islam Zahid which story was written by Kamrul Ahsan.
For the first time, Lux superstar Nisha is acting against Apurbo in this serial. Apurbo and Nisha are acting in roles of Tomal and Afrin respectively.
In the story of the serial it will be shown that Tomal met Afrin in an accident. After their introducing they started to love each other. Story of 52-episode serial continues later.
While talking about the serial Apurbo said, “If I work in telefilm or single episode play it cannot be possible for me to express my role nicely. But when I work in any serial I can easily establish my role. After a long time, viewers can remember a role of a serial. For this reason, I always feel comfortable to work in drama serial. After many days I worked with Nisha. She has improved her acting.”
Nisha shared her feelings by this way, “From the beginning of my acting career I have been working with Apurbo Bhaiya. He is very cooperative actor. I am very much excited to work against him in any serial.”
After Eid-ul-Azha, this life-oriented serial will go on air on Maasranga TV, said its director Zahid.
It may be mentioned that with Apurbo Nisha first acted in Ferdous Hasan directed a serial titled Mar Chhokka. But she didn’t work with Apurbo as a pair in that serial. As a pair, they first acted together in Sraboni Ferdous directed a play titled Hothat Biroti.
Now Apurbo acted two serials – Nazrul Islam Razu directed Lake Drive Lane (on NTV) and Sabur Khan directed Daag (on ATN Bangla) – are being aired.
On the other hand, Nisha’s acted four serials – Zahid Hasan’s Uramon, Mir Sabbir’s Noashal (on RTV), Golam Sohrab Dodul’s Palta Hawa (on Banglavision) and Komol Chowdhury’s By Focal (on Channel 9) – are being aired now.
